9th ANNUAL BIRD MIGRATION FESTIVAL

Interpretive Center, Homer Lake Forest Preserve

·      Mist Netting Demonstration: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

·      Main Event: 1-4 p.m. (Storyteller: 2-3 p.m.)

Bring your family and friends to Homer Lake to celebrate International Migratory Bird Day and experience the sensations of spring! During the mist netting demonstration, we will have the chance to see live birds up close. At the main event, we will learn about the birds that live in our preserves, and where they go in the winter, through games, crafts, stories and more.
