Homeschoolers Explore Vanishing Acts: Trees Under Threat

Museum of the Grand Prairie, Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve, 9:30-11 a.m.

Please join us as we learn about one of our planet’s most valuable resources that is disappearing before our eyes. In this program, homeschoolers ages 9-13 will learn about tree species around the world and how we are connected to trees in our everyday life by exploring our outdoor exhibit, Vanishing Acts: Trees Under Threat. Exhibit created by The Morton Arboretum in collaboration with The Global Trees Campaign. Dress for the weather. Adults must accompany children. $3 per child. Register by April 25 at ccfpd.org.
