Fighting with No Front LineS

Rantoul Public Library, Rantoul, IL, 2-4 p.m.

1968 was a turning point in the Vietnam War. Whether in the jungles of South East Asia or the streets of America, the conflict appeared to have no front lines, and for many people, the Vietnam War was the defining experience of their lives. Join us for an engaging roundtable discussion with local Vietnam veterans Stephen Douglas and Jim Cheek of the Rantoul Historical Society as they share personal experiences from this turbulent time. The Museum of the Grand Prairie's newest exhibit 1968: A Time for Every Purpose features a section dedicated to the Vietnam War. Be sure to visit it soon. FREE. All ages.
