Lincoln Lecture Series: Lincoln and Science, Lincoln and Nature

Sun, October 29, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

10th ANNUAL LINCOLN LECTURE SERIES:

LINCOLN AND SCIENCE, LINCOLN AND NATURE

Museum of the Grand Prairie, Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve, 2 p.m.

James Cornelius, Curator at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum will present this fascinating program. For a boy who grew up in nature, Lincoln had a keen eye for the scientific explanation. That’s not unusual–but his abilities in some scientific fields surpassed even those of the law school and West Point graduates he led in Washington. FREE!
