The revamped and relocated children's Discovery Garden was a big hit when it reopened in 2008. Now located right behind the Early American Museum, the Discovery Garden is designed to encourage children to develop a passion for gardening. Much larger than its predecessor, this one includes a sunflower maze, cucumber tunnel, bean tepee, footbridge and gourd trellis. It’s a hands-on area where kids do the planting and tending, and mostly, they learn while getting dirty! Photos
