Prairie Adventures
Session time: Friday 10/16 2:15-3:05
The environmental, historical, and horticultural departments of the Champaign County Forest Preserve District work together to offer Prairie Adventures, an inter-disciplinary on-site program for grades 3-6. This program takes students on a journey through first-person historical encounters of life on the prairie; as well as animal, plant and exploration stations where they utilize math, science, art and history skills. In addition to District educators, learn first-hand, from a teacher that has incorporated this program into her curriculum.
