Thank you for considering the Champaign County Forest Preserve District for your event. Whether you're planning a wedding ceremony or reception, family reunion, business meeting or company picnic, we have a facility to accommodate you. We offer open-air shelters and enclosed buildings in beautiful settings, in styles from rustic to contemporary.
Buildings and shelters are available to rent at three of our five forest preserves.
Reservations will be taken up to one year prior to the event date for all rentals. Our staff will be happy to help you determine which location best meets your needs.
Once your reservation is made, you will be sent a contract which must be signed and returned with a nonrefundable reservation fee (which is applied toward your rental fee) within two weeks. Two months before your event date, the remaining balance of the rental fee and the damage deposit must be paid in full.
Alcohol is allowed with building rentals if a certificate of Host Liquor Liability Insurance in the amount of $1 million and naming the Champaign County Forest Preserve District as an "additional insured" party is provided before the event.
