Visitors to Lake of the Woods Park in 1950 view the area that would soon become the spillway for the Lake of the Woods Dam. The people in this picture are in the approximate location of the present-day boat ramp. The other side of the dam is the area that now houses Swiss Valley Shelter and Sycamore Hollow Shelter.
