PANDEMICS AS A PORTAL TO CHANGE: ART AS A TOOL TO REIMAGINE OUR FUTURE, ARTISTS CLIMATE CHANGE PANEL DISCUSSION

Online Event, Streaming on the Museum of the Grand Prairie Facebook page, 7-8 p.m.

As a companion program inspired by the art in the online exhibition, “Pandemics as a Portal to Change,” responding to the pandemic of Climate Crisis, we have invited local artists from the exhibit, to share with us their process and reflections on Climate Change as it relates to their work in the exhibit. You just might be inspired to make your own art responding to this important issue. This program is in collaboration with Krannert Art Museum, The Urbana Free Library, Urbana Arts and Culture Program, the College of Fine and Applied Arts at Illinois, and the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center.  We hope you will join us for this illuminating and interactive program!
