The Museum of the Grand Prairie will re-open Tuesday, March 2 and be open Tuesday-Saturday from 1-5 p.m. until further notice. For the safety of all, masks are required inside the museum, you'll be asked to sanitize your hands when you enter, and there will be a limit of 25 visitors at a time. Visitors must have a reservation. Go to ccfpd.org to register for a time!
The Museum of the Grand Prairie at Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve in Mahomet offers dynamic exhibits, programs and events rich in local history. During your visit, head outside to enjoy the Discovery Garden, the Mabery Gelvin Botanical Garden and hiking trails in natural areas.

The Museum of the Grand Prairie is open March-December
March - May: 1pm to 5 pm daily
June - August: 10 am to 5 pm daily
September - December: 1pm to 5 pm daily
Admission is free.
